Meet handsome Lester. Lester is a 2.5 year old, neutered island dog from Anguilla with beautiful chocolate and red coloring, similar to that of a Doberman Pincher.
He will make a perfect companion for someone who is not looking to adopt a young puppy. Lester has a sleek build and weighs 35 pounds and is a medium sized dog.
In only five days Lester has adjusted to his foster home. Currently, he is being fostered with a male and female dog with whom he gets along great with as well as a cat. Lester is not food or toy aggressive. He gently takes snacks from your hand. Lester is house trained and loves to spend time outside playing with his toys and foster siblings. He sleeps in his crate all night and has no issue staying in his crate when left alone for short periods of time.
Lester walks well on a leash so far and is fine in the car. Lester warms up quickly to his people and would love to be a lap dog if he could! He also loves exploring. We think Lester would be a wonderful watchdog as he barks when he hears something to alert you but is not an excessive barker. Since Lester loves to play with his foster siblings, we think he would do well with another playful dog but would also make a great solo dog.
Lester comes with his medical records and age appropriate vaccines. He also speaks Spanish!
