If you are visiting Anguilla and would like to volunteer to escort / transport a puppy off of the island and to your U.S. destination city, please fill out this form.

Each individual traveling can transport one puppy in an airline-approved soft-sided mesh carrier bag on the airplane. The puppy fits into the carrier bag and you carry the bag by hand or over your shoulder. When you enter the airplane, you slide the mesh bag/puppy under the seat in front of you. The puppy will have a commercial airline ticket and a reserved space, so it won’t interfere with your ability to take a personal carry-on luggage. 

Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue makes all the travel arrangements and will send you coordination instructions a week before you depart Anguilla. 

A Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue team member will drop the puppy off to you (in the mesh bag along with its medical paperwork and a health certificate) at Blowing Point or the Anguilla Airport 60 minutes before you depart.

Once you arrive to your destination city, a Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue volunteer will meet you in the airport baggage claim and take the puppy from you in the travel bag.

That’s it! Super easy. Very rewarding. You’re essentially just giving the puppy a lift! The puppy will likely sleep the entire time and not make a peep. 

Anguilla visitors who are interested in transporting a puppy can fill the form up to a year in advance of travel and a minimum of two weeks prior to travel (although we prefer you fill it out as soon as you know you can transport). The information and answers you provide will alert our team of your interest and help us plan accordingly.
