Your Donation is 100% Tax Deductible
Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue is a small non-profit organization that is 100% donor funded. We rely on donations to help us operate and pay all the expenses associated with saving the dogs. Our expenses are tremendous.
Our expenses include the purchase of soft-sided mesh travel carriers, hard kennels, puppy collars, leashes, cloth hand towels, sanitary wipes, flea/tick medication, food, medical tests, veterinary exams, vaccines, boarding, preventative medicines, shipping costs if supplies to Anguilla, and customs and import fees.
Our expenses also include commercial and cargo airline tickets. A commercial airline ticket for a puppy and up to three cargo airline tickets are purchased for every mid to large sized dog. Our mid to large size dogs (who fly on three cargo flights) cost $1,300 per dog and their adoption fee is that of $625 which unfortunately does not cover all the costs to save the dog. We save 25-30 cargo dogs a year and the cargo airline expenses can financially deplete Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue’s funds quickly.
This is why Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue is in constant need for donated funds.

CORPOATE MATCHING
If you’re considering making a donation to the Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue, please check with your employer first to see if they will match it. Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations.
Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio. Corporate philanthropy and matching gifts are valuable because they are additional donations which will give your donation to our organization more bang for your fundraising buck. Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue will receive two donations for one, and donors love knowing their gifts went twice as far.
Create a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser
For those of you on Facebook, please consider creating a Birthday Fundraiser on Facebook for the Fly To Freedom Flyer Dog Rescue.
Three weeks before your birthday, Facebook will send you a message giving you the option to create a birthday fundraiser. Please tell them YES!
You will select the Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue as the organization among a list of nonprofits available. Once created, you will post your Birthday Fundraiser and include a personal message to the cause and your friends will begin to donate in honor of your special day.
As money is donated, Facebook will automatically update you and then automatically deliver the funds to Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue 30 days after the fundraiser ends. You will not need to do anything further after you create and publish your birthday fundraiser.
Feel free to take one of the puppy photos from our Facebook group to make as your photo banner to help attract your friends to the cause.
