Maple is a spayed mix breed island dog from Anguilla who may have some Labrador, with a dash of Bully, but a lab personality.
Her foster mom says that she is a bouncing ball of fun!
She walks on a leash, is housebroken and knows basic command like sit, down, go lie down, no and whoa.
She is crate trained, loves her crate, and will crate up happily for you.
She likes her car rides and does great on long ones too.
She is a real couch potato at heart. Full of love.
She is by nature very tuned in to her humans and would do well being trained to about anything.
She is a barking watchdog by nature but will be quiet when told and is never aggressive.
She is always eager to please and very smart and sensible, but most of all she is enthusiastic about everything.
She is not a high-energy dog but will need some regular exercise. She is great at throwing a ball around for herself!
Maple gets nervous with strangers but warms up and doesn’t have aggressive bone in her body. She will need some patience while she gets to know her forever family, but she will come around pretty quickly. She is a happy-go-lucky gal.
She is great with other dogs and cats and kids once she gets to know them.
Her foster mom says that it’s very hard not to laugh at some of her antics as she is a born clown.
While she is not a pup, she is young at heart and has a reliable personality with basic training done so the hard stuff is over.
